Klare

A SaaS tool that helps creators understand how their TikTok videos relate to their website traffic.

Problem

While promoting my first app on TikTok, I wanted to know which videos were helping bring people to my website. TikTok showed me video views, but I couldn’t easily compare them with my website traffic.

So I decided to build Klare.

Solution

Klare compares TikTok video performance with website traffic to highlight videos that may be associated with traffic increases.

I designed and tested an algorithm to analyze these patterns, then built a full-stack application to make the results easy to explore.

The results show correlations, not proof that a specific video generated a visit.

Technical challenges

The main challenge was working with time-based data: collecting video statistics over time, comparing them with website visits, and filtering out misleading patterns.

I also deployed the application myself on a VPS using Docker Compose, Caddy and Cloudflare.

  • Authentication & payments: Better Auth, TikTok OAuth and Stripe.
